Film Separations for Screen Printers

Film Outputting

What advantages does screen printing have over digital?

  • if you need a large quantity of one design, screen printing will probably be a cheaper option than digital
  • screen printing uses pantone spot colours rather than a 4 colour mix so colour matching of logos will be more accurate
  • as pantone inks are used in the screen printing process, colour matching for jobs printed at different times on different machines is more accurate
  • colours used in screen printing are stronger and more vibrant
